The client brief: make a new coffee table from a slab of English walnut.

The legs should be functional only, we don’t want anything other than the simplest legs as the coffee table top should be the only feature.

The outcome: This stunning table top is finished to 2000 grit, with 4 coats of all natural oil protection and a final thin coat of beeswax.
