We source bog oak, aged upwards of 5000 years, from the Fenlands in the UK. Our stock is assessed for quality, uniqueness, density, and potential. The bog oak slabs tick all the boxes.
Each piece is unique unto itself; the growth rings are incredible, the live edge is stunning and preserved. Every piece is initially treated with a deep penetrating preservative to help reduce any further (and hidden) deterioration of the wood. From there, we then apply 3 oil coats and a final wax coat for additional durability.
